About Lewis & Annie
“Forming The Foundation and seeing it grow fills us with so much pride. We have a huge admiration for the community who have joined us, believed in the cause and wanted to help in whatever way they can. Together we are making real changes and that is wonderful to see and be a part of. Thank you.” Annie Moody, Co-Founder
Former England Rugby Captain Lewis Moody MBE will go down in history as one of England’s finest and most charismatic players, after injury forced the most capped England flanker to call time on his illustrious career.
With two World Cup Finals, two 6 Nations Championship Winners Medals, two Heineken Cup Winners Medals and seven Premiership Winners Medals, the ex-England captain, Leicester Tiger and Bath stalwart is a true rugby legend, winning next to everything there is to win in the game he loves.
Now, with the same drive and passion and a massive understanding of the difference he can make, Lewis and his wife Annie are focussed on raising funds to help make a difference to families affected by the devastating diagnosis of a brain tumour now and in the future.
Lewis and his wife and Foundation Co-Founder Annie live in Bradford on Avon with their two children.
Lewis undertakes many personal challenges to raise funds for the work of The Foundation including the headsup series in partnership with Y.CO. Through his ‘headnorth’ and ‘headeast’ challenges, in 2015 and 2016, Lewis has raised over £155,000 for The Foundation. And in winter 2017, Lewis will be taking on the epic headwest Coast to Coast Challenge with an aim to raise £75,000 for the HeadSmart campaign. You can sponsor Lewis on his headwest challenge here.
