Clay Pigeon Flush 2017
The second Clay Pigeon Flush Day took place at PennSport near Newbury on the 30 June. The sun shone as 19 teams took part in the days shoot. Each team completed 8 Flushes of Simulated Game Shooting, the closest thing to live game shooting, with each person firing over 500 clays.
Lewis Moody and British Lions and Leicester Tigers rugby player Tom Croft each had their own team on the day – Lewis’s team sadly coming last! After completing the shoot, our guests enjoyed a bbq lunch, an interesting and amusing Q&A with Lewis Moody and Tom Croft and an auction led by Thomas Plant from Bargain Hunt. In total, the day raised over £20,000 for the vital work of The Lewis Moody Foundation. Money that can help support families that are dealing with the devastation of a brain tumour diagnosis.
Our very grateful thanks go to Tyron and Lola Mills for all the time, effort and dedication they put into organize this fantastic event in aid of The Foundation.
